What if God came to you and told you He would give you one million dollars every day of your life, but when you die you will not go to heaven?

Would you take it?

What if God came to you and told you He would give you a great education, a great stable career, a great spouse with great kids, a great home, with a great car, and an easy life, but when you die you will not go to heaven?

Would you take it?

What if God came to you and told you He would give you immense influence, prestige and popularity, but when you die you will not go to heaven?

Would you take it?

What if God came to you and told you that no one would ever ask you if you wanted to be a real pastor one day….wait, never mind…that will never happen.

What if God came to you and told you He would give you a huge ministry that was well-known and loved by all, but when you die you will not go to heaven?

Would you take it?

I mean REALLY be honest with yourself here.  Would you be tempted to take these things?

No?

…then why do we chase these things at the expense of the gospel and the detriment of those we minister to?
